Essential Favorites - Amazon Edition

I was filling out a survey the other day and I had to pick my favorite store.  It hit me that I haven't really shopped at a proper store in a while, most of my purchases have been made online for supplies at Amazon and all of our daily needs from Young Living.

Many of my purchases of late have been related some of my favorite Essential Oil accessories and what better place than to round them all up in one post right here!  It can get overwhelming combing through the pages and pages of options on Amazon, so I did it for you and rounded up all of my favorites to give y'all the easy button!!

Making DIY Rollers are hands down one of my very favorite things to do.  Even though I have been using oils for years, it wasn't until I joined Young Living last year that I learned how to make them and where to get them from.  I love making rollers for all the things and the team that I'm on has recipes for all the things: immune, tummy, breathing, emotions, hormones, skin, hair, face, muscles, perfume, focus, and sleep support to name a few.  Having rollers on hand is the easiest way to apply oils topically, just a swipe here or there is all you need.  Our favorite places to apply most of our rollers is our inner wrists, bottoms of our feet, along our spines or behind our ears.

I gathered up a handful of some of my favorites so you can add them to your cart and start making all the rollers you want!

These Root and Petal rollers are not only beautiful but I love that they come with a glass ball

I love how this set comes with so many accessories

Sometimes it's nice having some smaller rollers and I love these ones

and these ones are so beautiful

When we talk about applying our oils topically, you'll often hear us say to dilute with a carrier oil.  But like, what the heck is that? A carrier oil is a fatty oil that mixes with the essential oils and helps to spread them more evenly over our skin.  Some oils are considered "hot" oils because they have a tingling affect on the skin (peppermint, cinnamon bark, wintergreen are examples) so when we pair them with a carrier oil that helps to minimize that tingling/burning sensation.  We also use these carrier oils in with our roller blends.  Additionally carrier oils help to lock in the essential oils, since their extremely volatile (meaning they evaporate quickly), into our skin so that we can glean the maximum benefits from them.

Here are some of our most commonly used Carrier Oils from our group:

Fractionated Coconut Oil is one of the most versatile oils, is super cost effective, and you can find it just about anywhere nowadays.  This one comes highly recommended from our team and it lasts quite a while too.  I love that it comes with a pump top to make is super easy to add into rollers and to squirt into my hands.

Jojoba is an oil that I love to use for my face and is a great option if you're allergic to coconut.  It is a bit more expensive but my skin absolutely loves it.

While I haven't tried it yet I have learned that Rosehip Seed Oil is wonderful for your face, so when I run out of my Jojoba oil and I need to make some more of my Glow Girl Facial Serum I cannot wait to add this in!

One can never have enough diffusers.  We have one in every room, including our bathrooms. I adore the Young Living diffusers because they are Top Quality and beautiful.  But having a few extra diffusers on hand is always nice.  We travel a lot and bring our oils with us so having a cheaper option that I'm not concerned about getting damaged is so nice. I also have gifted several diffusers to friends and the girls teachers with some Young Living Essential Oils and I love having these pocketbook friendly options.

There is something about a touch of wood and this one fits all the bills.  It has a long run time and has a great simple design that goes with just about any decor style.

I adore the look of this one and it has lots of options as well, like a variety of run times and lighting options.

Having some Spray Bottles on hand is great for so many DIYs, such as cleaners, room sprays, and linen sprays.

These glass spray bottles are great for mixing up your Thieves Household Cleaner.  You can also make a wood cleaner or a heavy degreasing cleaner as well.  I love the Amber color and the spray nozzles on these ones are spectacular.

If you're not too interested in the amber colored bottles I found these clear ones!  Great for all the things I mentioned above.

These little misters (here, here, and here)are great for room sprays, linen sprays, or making your very own Thieves Spray for on the go!  I love the frosted glass ones.

Extras for DIYs.  One thing about oils is that they are actually pretty cost effective and you can make so many different things with them.  You'll just need a couple extra supplies and you'll be all set up for all the things!

Witch Hazel is one of our favorite extras to use in our sprays and facial DIYs.  It helps to emulsify the essential oils with water, just make sure to get a fragrance free or unscented one to avoid any chemicals/toxins.  In my facial regime I use it as a toner and it helps to bring back my skins Ph.

Epsom Salts are another great extra to have.  You can make some ahead of time with some epsom salts in a mason jar and add a couple drops of your favorite essential oils or you can take the dropper off of your empties and put the lids and bottles of your oils into a bowl of epsom salts and they'll draw out all the excess and then you can add them to your baths!

Making a whipped body butter is super economical and fun!  Whip one up using a combination of Shea Butter and Coconut Oil in your mixer and then add in some essential oils.  You'll love how moisturizing it is!

As you can see there are lots of options as to things you can make with your oils and they can be beautifully packaged too!!  I love all the glass bottles since they're more environmentally friendly and you can reuse them as many times as you want!! #winning!!
