Ahhhh October!

Is it just me or does a wave of gladness shoot through you when October rolls around.  The crisp mornings, cool evenings, and all those beautiful pumpkins....I wonder if it has something to do with Cinderella and her Pumpkin Carriage?

We've been quite busy lately and I have so much to catch you up on, of course if you follow me on on IG then maybe you already know lots of the details.  I plan to get a post all put together about it but for now I'll start you off with this:

We purchased a second house in our sweet little college town! It's been a dream of ours since attending school there to have a home and now after 12 years we do! It's unbelievably exciting and we have the opportunity to create a life of simplicity there and in our home here as well.  It's a sweet little Grey Cottage built in 1930 and is just the sweetest!

 We've spent a few nights over there already and its been such a dream.  The girls are actually sharing a bed, Séamus sleeps in a pack'n'play and the dogs love having a new place to check out.

 The girls sleep Charlie's Granparent's Style in this bed...until we get a second one and then either they'll still share or decide to sleep separately.

 We brought Ellie's old Full Size bed over, along with the Vanity from the girls room and this is now in the "Master" and its been super cozy at night.

 Our TV is hooked up for DVDs so we have lots of down time.

We've done some decorating for Fall around the farm here and Finnley cannot stop talking about all things Halloween.  She is obsessed with all the pumpkin decor and Ellie has been asking every day if we can buy pumpkins to bring home and carve.  We stopped by the grocery store a couple weeks ago and both Ellie and Séamus obliged for pictures - actually it was Ellie's idea 😍 and now I have all the plans to go to pumpkin patches all day every day.
