hello friday - an Xray, ballet recital, and PreK Graduation edition

What a whirlwind of a month so far.  Time is flying by so quickly and I can't believe that we're nearing the end of June already!!  We've been up to a lot and I can't wait to share with you!

::ONE::

Ellie had her ballet pictures with her class.  It was a whirlwind to get her ready and I forgot the hairspray...but she had fun and looked so cute all dressed up in her costume.  We got home after and the girls were out on the farm playing with their new soccer ball and Ellie fell funny on her foot and hurt it.  We made a trip to urgent care where she got an x-ray but thankfully there were no abnormalities or fractures.  She just needed to be careful and mindful of her foot and not push herself too hard with it.

::TWO::

We celebrated Nanny's birthday with dinner.  There were all sorts of fun things to do, coloring pages, birthday crowns, and other celebratory gags!  The girls loved seeing all the cousins and spending special time with Nanny on her birthday.

::THREE::

Ellie had her ballet rehearsal and recital.  The rehearsal was closed so I didn't get to watch it.  Thomas stayed home with Finnley and I made the most of my time by heading to Old Navy and Target to pick up some new swimsuits for the girls...turns out we only have 1 that fits Ellie and Finnley is outgrowing our stash.  Ellie made the cutest little bride.

The next evening was her actual Recital and she was so excited to have her Nanny and Papa in the audience as well as my BF!  She did so well during the performance and I love getting to see my girl up on stage.  She said she liked it but I'm not sure if she is going to be up for ballet again next year...we're taking a break for the summer and will reevaluate once school starts and she is in KINDERGARTEN all day.

Finnley adored getting to see Ellie up on stage and was glued watching most of the dances!! She did amazing and we are all so proud of Ellie!!

::FOUR::

We had the vet out to the farm for the horses check up.  Both girls were completely enamored with all the procedures: sedation, teeth floating, and vaccinations.  Both horses did extremely well and the girls were helpful and very well behaved.
Once the vet left, Ellie set up the picnic blanket on the deck for lunch and we ate outside enjoying the weather.

::FIVE::

Ellie graduated from Pre-K!!  She had her last day and we met up with a bunch of her friends afterwards for ice cream.  Later that night she had her graduation and it was the cutest ever!! They sang songs, had their graduation walk, and sang another "Moving UP to Kindergarten" song and it was just adorable!!!  I can't wait to spend the summer with her and then in the Fall she'll be gone all day at school and we're going to miss her but she is going to have so much fun!!!

Happy Weekend Y'all!!!
