{weekly update} week 12

Wow my baby girl is already twelve weeks old. She is getting bigger for sure and so much more interactive.

Weight: I put EF on our scale this morning. I know it's not accurate but it said she was 11 pounds.

Sleep: Baby girl has been sleeping pretty well. Though I think that congestion played with her nighttime sleeping a bit. She is back to her 2am feedings. Hopefully she will start sleeping through again this week. Ellie had a bit of a disruption to her naps this week too since we were out of town with her young cousins (two and four years old).

Diet: Ellie Faith is still doing well on her Similac Sensiive formula. She is getting 24 ounces a day. Most feedings are 4 ounces still but she is getting one 6 ounce a day.

Crying: Per usual still. Hungry or tired. We feel very blessed that she is such a good baby!

Social: Like I mentioned above she got some quality family time in our mini vacation with Nanny and Papa and her Aunties, Uncles, and Cousins.

Clothes: Ellie I finally fitting into 0-3 month clothes. She has pretty much outgrown her newborn clothes. However, we have three newborn onesies that were big to begin with that she still wears (one o which is her "mommy loves me")!

Baby Gear Love: Little E loves her car seat, mei tai carrier, lovey blanket, and swing. They were life savers on our trip too.

Milestones: First road trip. (Unless you count us bringing her home) First overnight vacation. Babbling and eye tracking as well. She is also loving her hands and when you talk to her. Girlfriend also LOVES her daddy!

Mama: I loved going on vacation with this little one. And playing with this little girl is so much fun!! We have lots of fun making noises together!

Sweet sweet Ellie Faith we love you and you are growing so fast!!

Weekend in Pictures

I was meaning to get this up yesterday but oh well!!

We had a fab weekend going over the mountains. We made a stop in Leavenworth for a quick shop around and some delish Bavarian food. Then it was off for some family time and relaxation at Lake Chelan.

Girlfriend was awesome on our road trip, sleeping most of the time.

She insisted in being carried while we were walking around town. And while we ate our anniversary lunch.

We found this cool goat statue fountain and had to get a photo of it.

Family pic at the house we stayed at.

And then some photos while we toured around downtown Chelan.

Thomas and I did our first ever wine tasting. We stopped at a winery that was inspired by a brothel and this was the wall paper!!

And then of course lots of playing with Ellie!!

And then on the way home we got stuck in construction traffic over the pass which added an hour and a half to our drive time.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

1,826

Five years (or 1,826 days) ago I married my best friend. I am happy to report that I love him even more today than I did five years ago.

We had a lovely wedding and the weather was beautiful. We were fortunate to choose the date of 8.8.08 even though it was a Friday because the following day was a downpour.

We got married in Seattle in the Ballard neighborhood at an old restaurant that is now an event facility called The Canal. It was right next to the Ballard Locks and Botanical Gardens.  Our wedding colors were chartreuse (my deceased grandpa's fave color) and brown (my grandma's fave color). We had a heck of a time finding brown tuxedos but in the end we were successful.

(First Look)
I loved the flowers that we had and our cake was delish. I keep hoping that we get invited to another wedding at The Canal because the food was amazeballs and I want more if it!!!

We had the best time and I am so happy of the memories we still have from that beautiful night!

I loved having our family there to celebrate

I loved that Thomas walked his mom down the aisle right before I walked down with my dad! And my childhood pastor performed our ceremony.

The best part was that a train went by right before our vows so we got to have a special moment while we were waiting!

My dad and I danced to an Elvis Presley song; Teddy Bear.

And Thomas and I danced to Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald song; Cheek to Cheek.

I love you Thomas and here's to many more years together!

{weekly update} week 11

I can't believe that it is already August!  Where has the time gone? My sweet little baby is already eleven weeks old!!

Weight: I haven't tried weighing this sweet little love this week. But she is feeling heavier. At least close to the 11 pound range.

Sleep: Actually pretty good this week. Miss E is close to 7 hours at night. Though she has been congested the past two nights so we are back at a 2am feed but I think she might go back once she can breathe better.

Diet: Girlfriend is getting about 24ounces of Similac Sensitive formula a day. Sometimes with a 4oz or even a 6oz bottle.

Crying: Per the usual, hungry or tired. Or when I suck the boogers out of her nose-Apparently that is not very much fun.

Clothes: Ellie is finally fitting into 0-3 month clothing!! She still can fit into some newborns but they are getting too short for her!!

Social: we had a good friend over on Friday who brought her 3 kids (including a 9 month old). It was fun seeing the interaction and a preview of what to expect in 6 1/2 months!!!  Also the usual outings; church, restaurants, shopping and Nanny & Papa's.

Baby Gear Love: Still totally in love with the Pandora station "heavenly lullabies" and we are loving our activity mat even more. The puppies are pretty fun too.

Milestones: No crying for two baths in a row! And making contact with hanging toys with her feet!

Mama: I am so in love with this little girl and I'm enjoying interacting with her so much.

Ellie Faith you are just the sweetest little baby and I am so thankful that God brought you into our lives and that we were chosen to be your parents.

[Shopping Cart] Anthropologie

Last week I got my mane did. I love it and a huge shout out to Elle at the Gene Juarez in University Village!! If you need a color she is your go to girl!!

While I was at UV, I stopped in at Anthropologie. Love that store! And I saw these:

Lets just say I am obsessed with them. The colors, the shape, and that they have polka dots!!! When I saw them I immediately envisioned a summer garden tea party and my heart just swooned over them. Really what's not to love?

I can't get them, and its not because they aren't on sale. It's because I have no room for them in my house. I have a slight addiction to dishware and glasses and am not allowed to get more -unless we move to a bigger house with a bigger kitchen and more storage, and more people willing to make the long drive out to our house for a dinner party.

Alas, these pretties stayed put in the store. At least I have the picture to remember them by. (If you want to be generous, I'll take a place setting for 8!!)

Have you seen anything on a shopping trip that makes your heart go pitter patter? Share in the comments below!
