I can't believe we are almost HALF WAY through October!!
Ellie and I both got mild fevers on Friday so we were pretty low key and Ellie got to watch WAY more tv than normal. Luckily I was finally able to get her to take a Tylenol. We've tried the liquid stuff several times and no matter how we "shoot" it in she spits it all back out (all over her face and ears and in her hair!!) so we are trying the meltaways and she isn't a huge fan either. But with perseverance and creativity I got her to take one - well half of one!
Saturday was another low key day. The weather was crazy! The rain was coming down so hard that it looked like someone was spraying our windows with a fire hose! And I got our Halloween decor up! Now I just have to finish with all the fall decor and we should be good to go.
I decided that I was going to participate on MOPs again this year and we made a great art project this week! Chalkboard is really everywhere these days!
On Sunday we volunteered in the church nursery and then stopped at Costco to get a few items. The grapes are always so good there and they have quickly become Ellie's favorite food!
Later we planned our menu for this week. We took a couple weeks off due to crazy scheduling but are back on track.
I was watching Giada (like I do every day) and she gave a recipe for pizza dough. I'm on the lookout for the best one so I'm excited to try it out on Thursday!
What's cooking in your kitchen?

Hope you two are feeling better! Your menu for the week sure sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteI just started following your blog a few days ago and reading past posts, because my son is fixing to come into his toddler season! And I've been loving your amazing insight! I just started my new blog and I'm excited to read everyone's stories on their different experiences! :) -VictoriaV
ReplyDeleteoh fevers are no fun. Since we started off the month with a bout of illness I feel you on the squirty tylennol. It took a couple tries but she finally drank some, and man did it help. The first time she got it everywhere though, all three of us were sticky! Glad you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI love the teeth pumpkins, haha those are great!
Thanks for linking up this week =)
That countdown is super cute! Hope everyone feels better soon!
