Ellie has been a One Year Old for two weeks now! I cannot believe how quickly time goes by. I am totally enjoying every moment of it and I just love watching my baby girl morph into a little girl. Everyday is a new adventure and she learns something new! Ellie is starting to become more mature and developed and her little personality keeps on shining through.
Some of my favorite moments these past two weeks:
celebrating Memorial day in matching outfits and getting all tuckered out from Outlet Mall Shopping
celebrating her birthday with family and friends and seeing how blessed she truly is!! As well as watching her mow down her birthday cake. Turns out girlfriend finally has a sweet tooth!
playing around in her birthday teepee! A dear friend took on the task of making it for us and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! She used this tutorial from Erinn.
eating in her big girl high chair that I am still in the process of completing the makeover of! And her new found love of fruit! watermelon, strawberries, honeydew and cantaloupe.
also with her choosing a lovey and holding it while watching PBS Kids. This is how she prefers to "sit" in her anywhere chair we got her for her birthday! What a sweet little nugget.
These are memories I want to keep and hold onto. I know before too long girlfriend will be walking and talking and actually sitting in her chair! Of course these are all things I am looking forward to as well!

Also my Toddler Tuesday series launched yesterday...did you have a chance to check it out?
She is too cute. I love the outfits you put her in. And that's cool she has a tpee in the house.

ReplyDeletemy sweet tooth is so happy she found hers!!! Oh and that she like cantaloupe - one of my favorite fruits! That teepee looks awesome! Maybe I'll have to try one for Callie! I think her basement playroom could use a space like that! :)
ReplyDeleteawwwww look at that sweet girl!!!! I love her big girl chair in that last picture!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh those rolls! those are going to be gone in a flash, make sure to enjoy those adorable baby rolls while they last. Aria pretty much only has her thigh rolls left and I love them to pieces! hahha, love that she is sitting next to her chair. I wanted one for Aria at Christmas but it never happened...now she loves sitting in chairs so I think it is totally time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! Those pigtails, I die! I just started putting them on my daughter...okay I did it twice right before bed, one day I'll do it for actually going out :) stopping by from it's the little things, definitely want to remember stuff like this!
