Today I want to take a moment to appreciate my little mini being my partner in crime!!
I know she is only almost 9 months (that happens on Friday folks!!) but she is just my little shopper!! She is so good and I just live taking her with me.
I love that she enjoys going to stores an restaurants with us. We decided before we even adopted her that we weren't going to completely change our lives up just because we have a baby. (Sorrynotsorry but those parents annoy the hell outta me)
I am no expert nor am I claiming to be, but I feel that Ellie will only learn how to behave in public settings is of we teach her and allow her to be in public settings.
So this past weekend Ellie, my MIL, and I headed out to lunch and shopping at Hobby Lobby. Girlfriend was a total treat and I am sure my fave was just beaming with love for her as she was so into all of it. To be truthful she did get a little crabby at lunch so we ordered her a slice of bread to eat while we were eatig and she was a happy camper!
Thanks girls for helping us to remember the little things!!

She's such a cutie! What a blessing that she's so fabulous on the go! :-)
ReplyDeleteShe is darling!!! What a sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteOne of my absolute favorite things about being a mama is having a partner to tag along with me while I run my errands. I feel so lonely when I go all by myself!
ReplyDeleteYour baby is gorgeous! Just came across your blog today and it was an honor reading your story. God bless you and your beautiful family :)
ReplyDeleteI could not agree with some of these statements more! We too are really trying to focus on our goal of not totally changing or "ending" our lives just because we have a baby. And you're so right... children only learn how to behave well in public if you TAKE THEM OUT IN PUBLIC! Love how you are raising this little cutie. And I didn't know we had Hobby Lobby in this part of the country?! My friend in Alabama is always talking about it, but I've never seen one around here...
